Web PhoneManager

Description: AVST Web PhoneManager is a web-based application for managing your voicemail settings and for playing voicemail messages. Web PhoneManager can also be used to manage various unified messaging settings. For instructions on using Web PhoneManager to play messages go here: Play Voicemail using Web PhoneManager

Note: Message playback via Web PhoneManager may not be available in all locations. But you can still use Web PhoneManager to view missed calls and to modify settings. For more information contact SCD IT Telecommunications.


Using Web PhoneManager to manage unified message settings

1.      Logging into Web PhoneManager
Go to: http://scdcxphone.seattlecolleges.edu/ and log in using your extension and voicemail security code:

2.      Home Screen
Depending on how your account is configured the Home screen can provide Call history and/or Voicemail Message playback functionality (Inbox) information. Click the “Calls” tab to see a list of calls you’ve made or received, including Missed Calls. Click Inbox to see voicemail messages (Note: The Calls and Inbox tabs may not be available in your location. Contact SCD Telecommunications for more information.


3.      Personal Settings
The Personal Settings screen allows you to “Record Personal Greetings, Create voicemail distribution lists, Manage contacts, Add phone numbers to your account and change your security code…

4.      Message Settings
From the Message Settings screen you can change how your voicemail message headers are formatted. You can also set your Time Zone…

5.      Notification Settings
The Notification Settings screen allows you to create a “Daily” call to remind you that you have new messages. You can also change Simple UM settings such as whether or not you want your voicemail messages sent as attachments. For more information about this contact SCD IT Telecommunications.

6.      Web PhoneManager Settings
Here is where you can modify the telephone number on which you want your messages to play. This would normally be your own phone extension but if you are working at another phone you can change this to another extension.
You can also change your Playback Settings:

·         Telephone = Plays messages via the associated telephone

·         Streaming Media = Plays messages via pc speakers or pc headphones

·         Download = Saves the message as an audio file that you can play back on your computer or save for future use…
