Conference Calling at Seattle Colleges

Conferencing Options at Seattle Colleges:

Phone-only audio conference calls:

If you only need to host a dial-in audio conference call where everybody joins by phone, and you donít need web or video features, you can use the manual conferencing feature on your Avaya phone or use the Avaya Meet Me system. Either of these methods has a limit of 6 dial-in participants including the host.

Conference Calling with Web, Video and Audio

If you require web or video interaction on your conference call, you can use Zoom.us or Skype for Business.

o   Zoom.us is ideal for web-only conference calls in which everybody joins by pc or smartphone. Zoom.us has a dial-in option too but the dial-in numbers are long distance for most local participants. Seattle Colleges has an account with Zoom. To get your Zoom sign-in credentials, contact the IT Helpdesk at ithelp@seattlecolleges.edu .
